Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The manuscript texts are both written in English and Bahasa for Indonesian Author's and else written in English only. Please submit your work for publication in the Journal of Digital Learning and Distance Education (JDLDE). Learn the author's guidelines so your paper can go through peer review, production, and publication smoothly. Take the time to read and follow the author's guidelines, as doing so will ensure your paper meets the journal's requirements.

Manuscripts

The manuscript must be the result of original work and research papers that have novel value and play a role in the development of science and technology. Papers are sent electronically through the online system found in the Journal of Digital Learning and Distance Education (JDLDE). The manuscript has never been published or is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

When you send a manuscript through the website system, please only send the Main text. If your manuscript is accepted for publication then you will be asked to send a Complete manuscript with the identity of the author.

The manuscript is written in 1 space, Time New Roman font, font size 12, the overall margin is 2.5 cm, and on A4 size paper. Manuscripts are written no more than 15 pages except for paper reviews and book reviews are allowed up to 20 pages.

How to send the manuscript

  1. The manuscript in Microsoft word should be sent to the editor by clicking the Online Submission tab on our Website.
  2. A brief bio that contains full name, academic title, institution, telephone, mobile number, and others should be written in the fields of data when registering online in the website submission.

Final Decision

Taking into account the results of the peer-reviewing process, the decision as to the acceptability of each manuscript for publication will be notified to the author(s) through the website system in the following alternative conclusions:

  1. Accepted without revision, or
  2. Accepted with minor revision, or
  3. Accepted with major revision, or
  4.  

All manuscripts submitted to this journal must follow the focus and scope, and author guidelines of this journal. Manuscripts submitted must have a value of novelty that is by the focus and scope. All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism content. All authors are advised to use plagiarism detection software to perform similarity checks. The editor checks the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal using Turnitin software.

 

Article Structure

  1. Title: concise, informative, and titles are often used in information-retrieval systems.
  2. Full names of all the authors dan the full name of the organization
  3. Abstract and keywords: abstract consists of 200-250 words, written in 1 space, Time New Roman font, font size 11, and followed by keywords (3-6 words). Abstracts should include key terms that potential researchers would use to search for. Abstracts should reflect only what appeared in the original paper.
  4. Acknowledgment: Acknowledgments to funders and research contract number.
  5. Article text: write down the background that underlies your research and the purpose of the research. Avoid detailed literature surveys or summary results. The description of the research methodology should be limited to the original, in the elemental analysis, only the average data should be shown. Abbreviated names used in the text must have decoding on the first use and be limited to conventional abbreviations. Please, avoid using the new one for no good reason. Choosing a unit of measurement is recommended to comply with the International System of Units (SI base units).
  6. Conclusion:The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short Conclusions section, which may stand alone or form a subsection of a Discussion or Results and Discussion section.
  7. Reference: reference lists are an important component of scientific articles and the editorial board verifies the accuracy and correctness of the reference lists. One of the reasons for not accepting manuscripts for further consideration may be the poor quality of the reference lists. The citations and references follow the style of the 7th edition of the APA (American Psychological Association). References should include only works cited in the manuscript text.

Citation

Citation in the text body should be written using the family name and years of publication. Example:

  1. Hill (2001) suggests that the objective of depreciation is…
  2. Inflation targeting would be sufficient (McCain, 1982).
  3. The definition of contagion is ... (Wagner, 1976; Rhonda 2009).
  4. The Authors are recommended to use Mendeley Reference software.

 

References should appear as:

Book with one author:

Author, A.A. (2015). Title of Work. Location/City, State: Publisher.

Book with two authors:

Book with more than two authors:
