The Journal of Digital Learning and Distance Education was born in 2022 and began with the publication of  Volume 1 Issue 1 June 2022. The Journal of Digital Learning and Distance Education is published by Radinka Jaya Utama Publisher. The Journal of Digital Learning and Distance Education was built to facilitate the publication of scientific work by lecturers, researchers, and students. The Journal of Digital Learning and Distance Education is currently indexed by Google Scholar, Road, Onesearch, Garuda, Scilit, and Crossref. A new cover design has been implemented for the Journal of Digital Learning and Distance Education, effective from Volume 2, Issue 3. Effective from Volume 4 Issue 6, Journal of Digital Learning and Distance Education has implemented a new manuscript template. Authors are required to use this updated format for all future submissions

Starting with Volume 4, Isssue 3, 2025 every article published in the Journal of Digital Learning and Distance Education has included a graphical abstract.

Starting from Volume 4 issue 5 all authors must disclose the Declaration of generative AI in scientific writing in their manuscripts.
