This community engagement initiative aims to elevate the technical capacity of students at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama (UNU) West Sumatra in crafting competitive business proposals for the 2026 Entrepreneur Award. Utilizing a Design and Development Research (DDR) approach, the intervention was executed through three systematic stages: needs analysis and document review, framework synthesis integrating the Lean Startup methodology and Business Model Canvas (BMC), and clinical proposal workshops featuring hands-on mentoring and expert validation. The post-intervention evaluation revealed a substantial increase in participant comprehension (averaging above 80%), with the most pronounced gains observed in financial feasibility projections (+56%) and BMC formulation (+56%). The initiative successfully yielded 15 submission-ready proposal drafts spanning creative industries, digital technology, agro-industry, and community services, alongside a sustainable technical guidance e-module. These findings demonstrate that structured technical guidance and experiential mentoring effectively bridge the execution gap, fortifying student entrepreneurial intentions and strengthening the university’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.</p> 2026-07-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 Liza Yuliana, Ruth Rize Paas Megahati S , Liesma M.
