Abstract

Household waste can be as a growing medium for oyster mushrooms, because of many benefits for growth and oyster mushrooms, for example, waste of tofu, and husk coconut. This research is on the effect of the use of some of the planting mediums on the growth of oyster mushrooms (Pleorotus ostreatus L.). The medium used in this study is the pulp, coconut husk, and rice straw. The purpose of this education is to exercise the effect of some of the planting mediums on the growth of oyster mushrooms (Pleorotus ostreatus L.). This education exercise was done in Jorong Kabun, Kenagarian Halaban. Kecamatan Lareh Sago Halaban, Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota.
